Enduro Gp – Carpineti (Italy)
Come sempre il Gp d’Italia non delude mai…
Il Campionato Mondiale di Enduro è infatti arrivato a Carpineti (RE) per il suo terzo Round della stagione 2022 e possiamo decisamente dire che come da pronostico l’Italia, l’enduro italiano, le sue “speciali” e i suoi scorci hanno fatto da splendida cornice per questo appuntamento molto atteso.
E i nostri piloti Max Ahlin, Lorenzo Bernini e Davide Mei hanno anche in quest’occasione dato il massimo e piena dimostrazione delle loro capacità.
E’ stata infatti una gara davvero impegnativa quella organizzata dal motoclub Crostolo: quattro lunghe speciali che sotto il sole estivo hanno messo a dura prova i nostri piloti.
Bernini, al suo rientro dopo l’infortunio, mette in mostra ciò di cui è capace: grande velocità in tutto il weekend, conclude entrambe le giornate nella top ten della classe youth, facendo ben sperare per l’imminente trasferta portoghese.
Davide Mei, alla sua prima esperienza mondiale, dimostra tanta caparbietà ed una buona velocità, due giorni difficili, ma era prevedibile: d’altronde è arrivato ora, giovanissimo, nell’Olimpo dei grandi. Ottimi, quindi, i suoi primi punti mondiali.
Max Ahlin, seguito dal TM, riesce nel day 2 ad aggiudicarsi la terza posizione assoluta e il secondo posto di categoria, dietro solo al francese Fargier e dopo un testa a testa proseguito nel corso di tutta la giornata che oramai sta caratterizzando questo campionato.
Grande prestazione per lui anche nel Day 1, dove colleziona un altro secondo posto mondiale che lo porta saldamente alle spalle del francese nella classifica generale.
Qualche giorno per il trasferimento del Team in terra portoghese e occhi puntati al quarto Round che ci attende.

As always, the Italian GP never disappoints …
The Enduro World Championship has in fact arrived in Carpineti (RE) for its third Round of the 2022 season and we can definitely say that Italy, the Italian enduro, its really “specials” and its glimpses have been a splendid setting for this much awaited appointment.
And our riders Max Ahlin, Lorenzo Bernini and Davide Mei gave their best and fullest demonstration of their skills on this occasion as well.
The one organized by the Crostolo motorcycle club was in fact a really demanding race: four long special stages that put our riders to the test under the summer sun.
Bernini, on his return after the injury, shows what he is capable of: great speed throughout the weekend, concludes both days in the top ten of the youth class, giving good hope for the forthcoming Portuguese trip.
Davide Mei, in his first world experience, shows a lot of stubbornness and good speed, two difficult days, but it was predictable: on the other hand, he has now arrived, very young, in the Olympus of the greats. Excellent, therefore, his first world points.
Max Ahlin, followed by the TM, manages on day 2 to win the third overall position and the second place in the category, behind only the Frenchman Fargier and after a head to head continued throughout the day that is now characterizing this championship.
Great performance for him also on Day 1, where he collects another second world place that brings him firmly behind the Frenchman in the general classification.
A few days for the transfer of the Team to Portuguese soil and eyes on the fourth round that awaits us.
